Why Lucid Systems

The American people deserve access to technology and information on their own terms.

I spent years as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations — federal law enforcement, some intelligence investigations, understanding how information gets used and misused. I've seen what it looks like when data serves institutions instead of people.

I built poliLucid because I felt our nation was being pulled in every direction except its own. Civic engagement shouldn't be a chore — especially not for young people who are going to inherit whatever we leave them. I built GeoLucid because I love globes and I believe the information people deserve far exceeds what anyone is currently giving them. I built Voical because AI should belong to the person running it, not the company hosting it. I built POVShare just to see if I could.

I built all of it alone — with help from a team of custom frontier AI agents. That used to be impossible. The fact that one person — a CRNA from Texas with a law enforcement background — can build a software portfolio from scratch is exactly what AI is supposed to be: a democracy tool. Lucid Systems is the proof of concept.
